Pricing

Downloading and installing Agon is free. Keeping it running takes a recurring subscription — you set the amount, starting from €1/month.

How it works

  • There's no paid tier and no feature gate — every studio gets every feature; what varies is only the amount you pay.
  • Your subscription is a recurring monthly amount that you set yourself, starting from €1/month. That €1 is just a symbolic floor, not a suggested price.
  • Pick the amount based on what Agon's experience has been worth to your studio — pay what you think is fair.
  • Your monthly amount isn't locked in forever, but you can't drop it to zero: Agon requires an active subscription of at least €1/month to keep running.
  • At checkout you receive a license key, which a manager pastes into Settings → License in the desktop app. Agon checks that key periodically in the background.
  • If a payment fails or your subscription lapses, you get a 72-hour grace period — plenty of room for a card retry or a brief internet outage — before access locks. Your data is never held hostage: exporting your clients, bookings, and reports stays available at all times, even if the license is inactive.

Why Agon works this way

Agon doesn't want to decide what your studio should pay, or lock specific classes, bookings, or reports behind a higher tier. Every studio gets the same full feature set; you decide what that's worth to your business, starting from a nominal €1/month floor.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to pay to use Agon? Downloading and installing Agon is free. To keep using it, yes — Agon requires an active subscription of at least €1/month. Every feature described in these docs is available at any amount you choose above that floor.

What's the minimum amount? €1/month. It's a symbolic floor rather than a recommended price — many studios may choose to pay more, based on what Agon is worth to them.

Does paying more unlock anything extra? No. Every studio gets every feature regardless of the amount paid — there's no paid tier. Only going unpaid (beyond the 72-hour grace period) changes what you can do.

What happens if my payment fails or I stop paying? You get a 72-hour grace period to fix it — a card retry or a short outage won't lock you out. After that, the backoffice, mobile app, and booking widget lock until the subscription is active again. Exporting your own data is never affected by this, at any point.

How do I set up payment? On the pricing section of agon-studio.dev, enter the monthly amount you want to pay (we suggest €40–€60, though anything from the €1/month floor works) and continue — you'll be taken to Stripe Checkout to enter your card. Every new subscription starts with a 14-day free trial; your card isn't charged until the trial ends, so you can cancel before then at no cost. Once checkout completes, you'll be shown a license key — paste it into Settings → License in the desktop app to activate your subscription. From that same confirmation screen (or by entering your license key on the pricing page later) you can open Stripe's Customer Portal to update your payment method or cancel.
