Booking a class

This guide explains how to browse the class schedule, book a class, join the waitlist if a class is full, and cancel a booking.

Coming soon

The Agon Studio client app described below is still in development and is not yet available to download. This page previews what it will look like once it ships.

Before you start

To book a class you need:

  • The Agon Studio app installed on your phone
  • An active membership or class credits
  • An account connected to your studio

If you don't have a membership yet, ask your studio to assign one, or purchase one in the app if online purchases are enabled by your studio.

Browsing the class schedule

  1. Open the Agon Studio app.
  2. Tap Classes at the bottom of the screen.
  3. You'll see a weekly calendar view of all upcoming classes.
  4. Swipe left or right to move between weeks.
  5. Tap the filter icon to narrow down by class type or instructor.

Tap any class to see its details: name, description, instructor, duration, capacity, and how many spots are still available.

Booking a class

  1. Find the class you want and tap on it.
  2. Tap Book.
  3. A summary shows the class details and confirms that one credit will be used.
  4. Tap Confirm booking.

You'll receive a push notification confirming your booking. The class will also appear in My Bookings in the app.

You cannot book the same class twice. If you already have a booking for a class, the app will show your booking status instead of a book button.

Classes reserved for a specific tag

Some classes are set up by your studio to be reserved for clients with a specific tag — for example, a class limited to a particular membership plan. A reserved class shows a small colored badge naming the required tag, and you can still view its details even without the tag. If you try to book it without the required tag, you'll see a message naming exactly which tag you need (for example, "This class is reserved for clients tagged 'Unlimited Plan'") instead of a confirmed booking. Contact your studio if you believe you should have access.

When a class is full — joining the waitlist

If all spots in a class are taken, you'll see a Join Waitlist button instead of Book.

  1. Tap Join Waitlist.
  2. Your position in the queue is shown (e.g. "You are #3 on the waitlist").

You'll receive a push notification if a spot opens up for you.

Confirming a waitlist spot

When a spot becomes available, you'll receive a push notification: "A spot has opened in [class name]. You have [X] minutes to confirm."

  1. Open the notification or go to My Bookings.
  2. Tap Confirm spot.

If you don't confirm within the time shown (set by your studio, typically 30 minutes), the spot is offered to the next person on the waitlist and your spot expires.

Leaving the waitlist

If you no longer want to be on the waitlist:

  1. Go to My Bookings.
  2. Find the class and tap Leave waitlist.

Cancelling a booking

  1. Go to My Bookings in the app.
  2. Find the booking you want to cancel and tap on it.
  3. Tap Cancel booking.
  4. Read the cancellation policy shown — it tells you whether your credit will be refunded.
  5. Tap Confirm cancellation.

Credit refund rules

  • Cancelled before the cancellation window (e.g. more than 2 hours before class): your credit is refunded to your membership.
  • Cancelled inside the cancellation window (e.g. within 2 hours of class start): depending on your studio's policy, you may or may not get your credit back. The app always shows you what will happen before you confirm.

The cancellation window and credit refund policy are set by your studio. If you're unsure, contact your studio directly.

What if something goes wrong?

I can't find the Book button This usually means you don't have an active membership or you've used all your credits. Check My Membership in the app. Contact your studio to purchase or renew a membership.

I accidentally cancelled my booking You can re-book the class if spots are still available. Go to Classes, find the class, and book again.

I got on the waitlist but never received an offer This means the class filled up and no spots opened before the class started. You were not charged any credits for being on the waitlist.

I missed the confirmation window for a waitlist spot Your waitlist position expired. You would need to re-join the waitlist if you still want to attend a future class.

I got a message saying I need to sign a waiver before booking Some studios require you to digitally sign a waiver (for example, a liability release) before your first booking, or after the studio updates its waiver text. This message means you have an unsigned required waiver on file.

Tap Sign Waivers on the message to go straight to it, or go to Profile > Waivers at any time. Open the waiver, read it, type your full name, check the consent box, and tap Sign. Once it's signed, you can book normally. You need an internet connection to sign a waiver.

I got a message saying the class is reserved for a tag I don't have This class is limited to clients carrying a specific tag your studio assigns (see Classes reserved for a specific tag above). Contact your studio — they can either assign you the tag if you're eligible, or book you into the class directly on their end.
