Setting up the Agon client app
This page explains how your clients download and connect the Agon mobile app to your studio, so they can browse and book your classes from their phone.
Before you start
Make sure you have completed the Studio Setup Wizard. At the end of setup, Agon generates a QR code for your studio — you will need to print or display this for clients to scan.
What clients need
- An iPhone running iOS 15 or later, or an Android phone running Android 8 or later
- Your studio's QR code (from the onboarding sheet, or from Settings → Connectivity)
Setting up the app — for new clients

- Open Agon Studio.
- Tap Scan studio QR code and point your camera at the QR code at reception.

Returning clients (already have an account)
If a client already has an Agon account at your studio — for example, they are reinstalling the app on a new phone:
- Download and open Agon Studio.
- Scan the QR code or enter the studio code manually.
- Tap I already have an account.
- Enter their email address and password to log in.
Clients attending more than one studio
A client account is tied to one studio. If one of your clients also attends another studio that uses Agon, they will have a separate account there. They can switch between studios inside the app by going to Profile → My Studios → Add Studio.
Displaying the QR code
You can find your studio's QR code at any time by going to Settings → Connectivity → Show QR Code in the desktop app. Print it and display it at reception, or save it as a PDF to share digitally (for example, in a welcome email to new clients).
What if something goes wrong?
Client says the QR code won't scan Each QR code has a short studio code printed below it. Clients can tap Enter code manually in the app and type the code instead of scanning.
Client can't create an account (email already exists) This means someone already registered with that email address. The client should tap I already have an account and log in with their existing password. If they've forgotten their password, they can tap Forgot password on the login screen.
Client connected to the wrong studio Go to Profile → My Studios in the app, remove the incorrect studio, and scan your studio's QR code again.
The app says it can't connect to the studio Your Agon desktop app needs to be running for clients to connect. Make sure the desktop app is open and showing a green connectivity indicator. See Connectivity Settings for more details.
