Feedback
Report a bug or request a feature from inside Agon, and it goes straight to the Agon team — no separate support portal, email address, or account to remember.

Before you start
Feedback is available to every staff account — Manager, Instructor, or a custom role — from the left sidebar. Unlike most of Agon, it isn't gated by any role or permission: anyone who can log into the desktop app can submit feedback.
There is one requirement: your studio needs to have completed licensing setup. If your studio was just installed and hasn't been licensed yet, see What if something goes wrong? below.
Overview
Feedback in Agon covers two different kinds of message, chosen with a single type toggle:
- Bug — something isn't working the way it should.
- Feature request — something you wish Agon could do.
Both use the same short form, so you never have to guess which category applies before you start writing — pick a type, describe it, and submit.
Submitting feedback
- Click Feedback in the left sidebar.
- Choose Bug or Feature request using the type toggle at the top of the form.
- Enter a short Title (up to 200 characters) summarizing the issue or idea.
- Enter a Description (up to 5,000 characters) with as much detail as you can — for a bug, what you did and what happened instead of what you expected; for a feature request, what you're trying to accomplish. The example placeholder text shown in these two fields changes depending on whether you picked Bug or Feature request, to hint at what's useful to include — it's just a prompt, not a template you have to follow.
- Optionally, attach up to 3 photos or short videos — a screenshot of the problem, a screen recording of a bug happening, or a mockup of what you have in mind. Each file can be up to 20MB. Supported formats are JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF for images, and MP4, MOV, and WebM for videos. You can remove an attachment before submitting if you picked the wrong file.
- Click Submit.
You'll see a confirmation message once it's been sent, and the form clears so you can submit another one right away if you need to.
What happens after you submit
Your submission goes directly to the Agon team, who review it. There's no separate customer-care queue — the same team that builds Agon reads every submission.
A few things to know about how this works today:
- There's no reply or status update inside Agon. You won't see "in progress" or "shipped" labels, and you won't get a notification back through the app. If a feature request or bug fix ships, it will show up as a normal part of a future Agon update.
- Feedback isn't private the way your client or booking data is. Everything else in Agon stays on your own computer. Feedback is the one deliberate exception: your submission (studio name, your role, and the title/description you wrote) is sent to the Agon team so they can see it and notice when several studios ask for the same thing. It never includes your clients' data, bookings, or financial records — only what you type into the Title and Description fields.
- Photo and video attachments are supported. You can attach up to 3 files (photos or short videos, 20MB each) to a submission — see Submitting feedback above for the supported formats. What's still missing: there's no way to attach a file after the fact, and attachments aren't shown back to you anywhere in Agon once submitted.
- There's no history view yet. Once you submit, it isn't saved anywhere inside Agon for you to look back on — only the confirmation message on screen tells you it went through.
What if something goes wrong?
I get an error saying licensing isn't complete Feedback can only be submitted once your studio has finished its licensing setup. Go to Settings and complete the licensing steps there, then come back and try again. If you believe your studio is already licensed and still see this message, contact the Agon team through another channel (for example, the community or support link on the Agon website) for help.
I get an error saying the feedback service isn't reachable This means Agon couldn't deliver your message right now — usually a temporary connectivity issue on your end or the Agon team's side. Wait a moment and click Submit again. Your title and description stay filled in on the form, so you won't lose what you wrote.
I don't see Feedback in my sidebar Every staff account sees Feedback, regardless of role — Manager, Instructor, and any custom role all have it. If it's missing, make sure you're logged into the desktop app (not the mobile app, which doesn't have this screen) and that you're on a current version of Agon.
I get an error saying I have too many attachments You can attach at most 3 files to a single submission. Remove one or more attachments (or submit in two parts) and try again.
I get an error saying an attachment is too large Each attachment must be under 20MB. Compress the photo or video, trim a longer recording down, or pick a smaller file, then try again.
I get an error saying an attachment's file type isn't supported Only JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF images and MP4, MOV, and WebM videos can be attached. Convert the file to one of these formats, or describe what it shows in the Description field instead.
