Establishments

This page explains how to manage the physical locations your studio operates from, and how a location connects to your calendar.

Before you start

Managing establishments is manager-only — there's no client-facing surface for this list. Clients never browse a list of your locations directly; they only see a class's location (when one is set) on the class itself.

An establishment is one physical location your studio runs classes and appointments from — a single-location studio only ever needs one, but a multi-location studio (e.g. a downtown location and a second location across town) creates one per site.

Managing establishments

  1. Go to Establishments in the left sidebar (under Scheduling).
  2. Click + Add Establishment.
  3. Fill in:
    • Name — e.g. "Main Studio"
    • Address (optional) — start typing and pick a suggestion from the autocomplete, or type a full address manually
    • Phone (optional) — an international phone number
  4. Click Save.

The new establishment appears in the list with an Active badge.

Editing an establishment

Click any row in the list to open it, change the Name, Address, or Phone, and save.

Deactivating an establishment

  1. Find the establishment in the list and click Deactivate.
  2. Confirm.

Deactivating is a soft delete — the establishment stops appearing as an option when scheduling new classes, but nothing about it is deleted. Click Reactivate on a deactivated row at any time to bring it back.

Removing an establishment

  1. Find the establishment in the list and click Remove.
  2. Confirm.

Removal is permanent and cannot be undone. Agon blocks removal if the establishment has any scheduled classes tied to it — deactivate it instead in that case.

How establishments connect to your calendar

If your studio has more than one active establishment, a Location dropdown appears:

  • In the Schedule class modal (single and recurring), so you can assign the class to a specific location.
  • On the Calendar view itself, as a filter, so you can narrow the calendar down to one location's classes.

If your studio only has one establishment (or none yet), the Location dropdown is hidden everywhere and every class is scheduled against your single default location automatically — there's nothing to configure for a single-location studio.

A scheduled class's location (when set and when your studio has more than one) is shown on the class card in the Calendar view, alongside the instructor and capacity.

What if something goes wrong?

I can't remove an establishment Agon blocks removing an establishment that still has scheduled classes assigned to it. Deactivate it instead — this hides it from new scheduling without touching existing classes or history.

The Location dropdown isn't showing up when I schedule a class This is expected if you only have one active establishment — Agon skips the picker entirely and uses your one location automatically. Add a second establishment if you need to choose between locations.

The address autocomplete isn't finding my address The autocomplete suggests results from a public address lookup as you type (after 3+ characters). If nothing relevant appears, just type the full address manually — it's a free-text field, the autocomplete is only a convenience.
